🎺 The sun came out just in time for Aldbourne Band’s July summer series concert last night on the Village Green.
🎼 With highlights including ‘Little Serenade’ and ‘The Red Shield’, the audience were also treated to our very own Ed Latham’s arrangement of Toto’s ‘Africa’ and David Richard’s arrangement of Crooner’s Serenade.
🏆 The concert also featured the fab Aldbourne Youth Band and the presentation of their annual awards. A massive well done to Sam J for winning the Youth Band player of the year and to Sam G for winning the cup for player who has shown the most progress!
🎶 This concert was part of Brass Bands England’s Brass Band Week, celebrating all things brass bands around the country. Looks out for more events this week near you.
