Aldbourne Band were joined by friends from across the local and international banding community at yesterday’s super ‘Proms on the Green’
As a packed village green basked in the sunshine enjoying the finale of the Aldbourne Music and Song Festive, the massed band entertained them with the classics from the ‘last night of the proms’
And what a massed band it was! We had players from Wroughton Silver Band, Hungerford Town Band, Swindon Brass, Brunel Brass Academy, St Sebastian Wokingham Band and even Rockville Brass Band all the way from the USA!
Many thanks must go to all the helpers and volunteers, especially in the Friends of Aldbourne Band for helping to make the afternoon such a success!
