For the past 2 years we have organised Brass Tactics courses to give local young players experience of playing in a larger band and working with a nationally respected conductor.
This year Brass Tactics 3 will be held on Saturday November 12th .
The day will again be directed by the inspirational David Hayward. We would love to welcome back those who have attended before and also meet new players. If you feel the course is something you would appreciate then you don’t have to be a young person!
This year the course has been extended to include a brass recital from a guest soloist and also a short educational concert from the Aldbourne Band. It’s not all hard work as there is the opportunity to meet and make friends with other brass players from the area, enjoy some musical quizzes, games, cakes and other fun surprises too!
The cost of the day course is £15 . Drinks are provided but bring a packed lunch.
Family and friends will be invited to the end of course concert and can then attend the Aldbourne Band concert
at £5 a ticket with concessions of £3.
The Band will give a concert at 18:00 in the church after the Brass Tactics course
